37th MEDICON-2024 (Annual Scientific and Socio-medical Summit) and Post-convocation Certificate Distribution held on 17th March 2024 at Vidyasagar Sabhagriha, University of Kalyani. Prof. Dr. Debabrata Basu, Hon'ble Vice-chancellor, Uttar Banga Agriculture University inaugurated the summit. Eminent Cardio-thoracic Surgeon & Former Sheriff, Kolkata Prof. Dr. Sadhan Chandra Roy ornamented the Chair of Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Alok Kumar Banerjee, Former Hon'ble Vice chancellor, University of Kalyani ornamented the Chair of Special Guest. Smt. Gayatri Basu, Senior Faculty Member of BRAPRD, Govt. of W.B., Sri Kajal Roy, President, Balak Bramhachari Trust; Dr. Pradip Sharma, Secretary, IMA, Naihati Branch and Prof. Dr. R.N. Bhattacharyya, President, Greater Kolkata Doctors' Association delivered their valuable speech. In Scientific Session speakers were Dr. Ankan Pathak, MBBS, MD, DNB (Cardio), Dr. Shyamsundar Chakraborty, D.Sc., and Prof. Dr. Md. Parvez Alam, M.S. (Ophthalmology). In Post-convocation Certificate Distribution Session about 150 nos. pass out students received their certificates from the dignitaries in the dais. Existing students also organized a post-lunch Cultural Session. Prof. Dr. Tapan Kumar Adhikary, Founder Principal, Dr. K.R. Adhikary College of Optometry and Paramedical Technology and Dean, Indira Gandhi Technological & Medical Sciences University presided over the whole function.
